In a surprising revelation, internal documents from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have been found to commend an officer for cross-dressing, asserting that it enhances his capabilities as an intelligence officer.

The documents, part of a newsletter named "The Dive," were obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request. The newsletter is a product of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence's IC Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Office.

The article that has garnered significant attention is titled “My Gender Identity and Expression Make Me a Better Intelligence Officer." The author, an anonymous officer, candidly discusses his penchant for wearing women’s clothing. "I am an intelligence officer, and I am a man who likes to wear women’s clothes sometimes,” he declares in the opening line.

The officer further delves into his experiences, sharing how donning women’s shoes and undergarments has given him a unique perspective on the discomforts endured by his female colleagues. “I know firsthand how wearing heels can make your feet hurt and make it take longer to walk somewhere,” he admits.

Moreover, he advocates for the acceptance of crossdressing in the workplace, arguing that it could foster a more comprehensive understanding of gender identity and expression. “It is my hope that we can learn to accept a wider range of gender identities and expressions,” he asserts.

A representative from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence confirmed the distribution of the newsletter, inclusive of the aforementioned article, across the entire intelligence community. The representative underscored the IC DEIA Office's commitment to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce, with initiatives like "The Dive" playing a pivotal role.
