Adult film actress Stephanie Clifford, known professionally as Stormy Daniels, was spotted exiting a Brooklyn LGBTQ establishment on Monday evening.

The venue had earlier screened a documentary featuring her, a move that lawyers representing Donald Trump argue should warrant a dismissal or at least a postponement of the impending trial over falsified business records.

Earlier in the day, Manhattan Justice Juan Merchan had given the green light for Daniels, ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal, and lawyer Michael Cohen to testify in the forthcoming trial, as reported by the Daily Mail. However, Merchan's ruling did not address the contention raised by Trump's legal team regarding the documentary, titled 'Stormy.'

Trump's lawyers argue that the film's release, a week before the jury selection was due to commence, should have been communicated to the defense counsel. They further contend that the documentary contains statements from Daniels that could potentially prejudice Trump.

The screening at the 3 Dollar Bill club occurred mere hours after Merchan's ruling. The documentary, produced by Peacock, focuses on the case against Trump, which has led Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to level 34 counts of falsified business records against the former President. Although these charges are typically misdemeanors, Bragg has escalated them to felony status, alleging they were committed in the service of a felony crime. However, he has yet to specify the nature of these felonies. Prosecutors claim that Trump recorded payments made to his attorney Michael Cohen as legal fees, which Cohen then allegedly used to pay Daniels for her silence regarding their purported affair.

In February, Trump requested Merchan to prevent Daniels, McDougal, and Cohen from testifying, arguing that Cohen has a history of dishonesty and Daniels would exploit the trial to profit from her narrative.

Merchan ruled that McDougal, who claims to have had an affair with Trump, could testify under limited conditions to be determined at the trial.

The trial, initially scheduled to commence on March 25, has been postponed by at least 30 days following a dispute over evidence disclosure.
