In a recent address in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, President Biden made a surprising statement, seemingly forgetting his current position as he pledged to uphold Roe v. Wade if elected "to Congress."

The President passionately declared, "Pennsylvania, I have a message for you. Send me to Congress so that I can support this right." He further vowed, "We take back Congress, we will restore Roe v. Wade as the law of the land."

Following Biden's State of the Union address, former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to critique the speech. Trump quipped, "The Story is that he got through it, he's still breathing, and they didn't have to carry him out in a straight jacket." He concluded his critique by stating, "Other than that he did not do a very good job."

Earlier in the week, President Biden made a claim that he had won the last five polls "in a row." While Biden did secure a one-point victory against Trump in a Morning Consult Poll, an analysis of the last five polls reported by Real Clear Politics showed Trump leading Biden in three of them. Similarly, 538 reported Trump winning two polls, with another ending in a tie.

A recent poll conducted by the New York Times and Siena revealed a decline in President Biden's support among Hispanic and Black communities. Trump received 46 percent of the registered Hispanic vote polled, compared to Biden's 40 percent. Among the Black community, the poll showed a significant shift, with only 4 percent of respondents stating they voted for Trump in 2020, while 23 percent of those polled said they would vote for him in 2024.

The same poll indicated that if the election were held today, former President Trump would defeat President Biden by 5 points, securing 48 percent of the vote to Biden's 43 percent. A separate Bloomberg Poll also showed Trump leading in seven key swing states, including Pennsylvania, where he held a 6-point advantage over Biden.
