A nonprofit organization associated with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has received hundreds of millions of dollars in anonymous donations in recent years, despite Schumer's public condemnation of dark money in politics.

Tax forms reveal that Majority Forward, an advocacy group linked to the Senate Majority PAC, has experienced a significant increase in its funding over the past three years compared to its initial years of operation.

Between July 2019 and late June 2022, the organization received $271.6 million in undisclosed donations, while it only received $69 million in donations from June 2015 to May 2018.

This surge in funding coincides with Schumer and other Democrats intensifying their criticism of Republican dark money operations. It also highlights the growing reliance of Democrats on a practice they frequently denounce.

According to the most recent tax forms obtained by Fox News Digital, Majority Forward received $75.2 million between July 2021 and June 2022.

During this period, the organization distributed $31.2 million in grants to eight left-wing organizations, including Priorities USA, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Americans for Economic Growth, Save My Country Action Fund, Protect Your Vote Nevada, Swing Left, and Emily's List.

However, the largest recipient of Majority Forward's funds was the Senate Majority PAC, which shares an alignment with Schumer and aims to elect Democrats to the Senate.

Throughout the year, the nonprofit contributed $23 million to the PAC, which has consistently received substantial amounts of money from Majority Forward.

This means that significant sums of undisclosed funds have been injected into elections to support Democrats nationwide.

JB Poersch, a longtime ally of Schumer, serves as the president of both Majority Forward and the Senate Majority PAC.

The two organizations share office space and personnel, and Majority Forward has allocated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the PAC for salaries, insurance, and IT security, as indicated by federal filings.

While Schumer has publicly criticized dark money and advocated for legislation against it, his own affiliated organizations have benefited from such funding.

Schumer has championed the For the People Act, which includes provisions requiring political nonprofits to disclose donors who contribute more than $10,000.

The bill also mandates that nonprofits file disclosure reports with the Federal Election Commission when they spend over $10,000 on election-related activities.

Schumer, along with Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse and other Democratic politicians, has called on the right-leaning Judicial Crisis Network to disclose the identities of donors who have contributed more than $10,000 to the organization.

The senators criticized the group for concealing the identities of donors who have financially supported political advertising campaigns in favor of nominees like Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch.

However, these lawmakers have also benefited from their own dark money groups, including Demand Justice and the Alliance for Justice, which have sought to influence President Joe Biden's judicial nominations.

Despite his criticism of dark money, Schumer has regularly used his social media platforms to condemn its influence on elections. In September of last year, he stated, "The Supreme Court's ruling in Citizens United paved the way for endless dark money in our elections.

The Senate is voting on the DISCLOSE Act because we must cure this cancer of dark money. Every Senator has a choice: Vote for transparency, or stand with the forces of dark money."
