Target Reverses Decision to Refuse Sale of Mark Levin's Book After Backlash.

Less than 24 hours after conservative radio host Mark Levin called out Target for refusing to sell his forthcoming book, the retail giant made a stunning reversal.

Levin had taken to social media to criticize Target for telling his publisher, Simon & Schuster, that it would not carry his book, titled "The Democrat Party Hates America," in its physical stores due to concerns that "certain customers might be offended by the title."

Levin expressed his frustration on Twitter, stating, "Imagine that! So, the corporatist leftwing censorship begins." The book, set to be released on September 19, had been available for pre-order on Target's website.

A spokesperson for Target confirmed that the company had an issue with the book's title, stating, "We've been offering this book for pre-sale since mid-June.

As we have with Mark Levin's past books, many of which are currently available for sale at Target, we'll offer his newest title for sale when it is available on September 19.

The use of the word 'hate' in the title caused our team to reach out to the publisher, but as stated, we are continuing to offer this book for pre-sale now, and it will be available for sale on its release date. We regret any confusion this situation caused."

However, shortly after providing this statement, Target informed Simon & Schuster that it would carry Levin's book in its physical stores upon its release.

Levin, in an interview with Fox News Digital, hailed Target's reversal as a victory not only for conservative authors but also for the country.

He emphasized the importance of free speech and market capitalism in a free society, stating, "The market system allows Target and any other company or business to do as they wish. But it also allows us to do as we wish. And corporations need to know that while they're free to do these things, we, the people, are free to respond."

Levin encouraged Target and other corporations to embrace free speech and market capitalism, calling them "a wonderful thing." He also criticized the left and Democrats for their desire to ban and censor books without even reading them, stating, "They would've loved this book to be banned for its title.

They would love this book to be censored by corporations for its title. They haven't even read it! And trust me, they're going to hate it more after they read it."

Target has yet to respond to Fox News' request for comment following its reversal.

Levin's book, "The Democrat Party Hates America," promises to reveal "the radically dangerous Democrat agenda that is upending American life."

The book is a follow-up to his best-selling 2021 release, "American Marxism," in which he exposed the infiltration of Marxist ideology in American society and culture.

Levin's latest work aims to hold the Democrat Party accountable for rewriting history and undermining freedom in America. He argues that the party has become a vehicle for Marxism and its revolutionary ideals.

With Target's decision to reverse its refusal to sell Levin's book, the incident serves as a reminder of the power of free speech and the market system.

Levin's case demonstrates that individuals have the freedom to respond to corporate decisions, and that corporations should embrace the principles of free speech and market capitalism.
