Joe Rogan Blasts Democrats For California's Economic Shutdown, Exposes Government Hypocrisy

Rogan expressed his views while interviewing comedian Gabriel Iglesias about the businesses that had to close permanently due to the pandemic.

Rogan stated that the decision to shut down businesses was taken from people's hands and was a disaster for the economy, mental health, people's careers, and long-term companies. He added that family businesses, such as restaurants that had been around for 30 years, were forced to close, and little local neighborhood places everyone went to were bled out.

Rogan also criticized the government for allowing large online outlets to succeed while not allowing people to patronize small businesses. He expressed his disgust at the government telling people what they can and can't do, based on what he considers to be no honest conversations with disagreeing opinion experts.

Rogan famously left California in 2020 and moved to Texas after criticizing the state's high taxes and worsening living standards amidst numerous crises, including homelessness and a crime epidemic. He expressed his happiness at leaving California and mocked California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, for defending his policies in what many consider to be a run-up to a presidential campaign.

Rogan concluded that the decision to shut down businesses was gross and that he was glad to have left California. He is known for his conservative views and has been critical of liberal or progressive viewpoints in the past. Despite this, he remains one of the most popular podcasters on the planet.
