Howard Stern, SiriusXM radio host, recently voiced his frustration with the feverish speculation surrounding the potential arrest of former President Donald Trump.

On Wednesday's episode of "The Howard Stern Show," Stern criticized media outlets like MSNBC for going "f-----g berserk" over the rumors of a possible indictment related to hush money payments made to Stormy Daniels in 2016. Stern suggested that the networks have to "fill 24 hours a day," he was bemused by the idea that all the news organizations were taking Trump's words at face value, considering he was the one to stoke the rumors in the first place. Stern continued laughing., "And then they all come on the air and they’re all discussing whether or not Trump’s gonna be indicted. I go, ‘You know, why don’t you sit tight and wait and see, instead of, like, speculating?'"

"These indictment possibilities," Stern’s co-host Robin Quivers chimed in. The host then observed how pundits were having the same "discussion over and over again," prompting Quivers to jab at the media, saying "That’s right, you don’t have to speculate. See, this is what my problem is with those news shows. They treat politics like sports. When something like the Super Bowl is coming up, you have two weeks to discuss what’s gonna happen in the Super Bowl."

The pair then discussed how Trump had successfully drummed up the news himself, Stern said, "You know, it’s crazy, the thing I love is that everyone is talking about Trump, Trump, Trump, and yesterday was the day he was going to be arrested, but Trump is the one who said he was going to be arrested and they all believe him that he was going to be arrested." With Quivers pointing out "He drummed up the news again. I said, 'I guess people are happy because he’s back and he’s telling them what stories to cover.'"

Stern summed with a laugh, "Yeah, he doesn’t know what’s going on!"
