FOX’s “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett made a now infamous claim in January 2019.

He claimed two White supremacists Trump supporters near his Chicago apartment attacked him. Almost immediately, the mainstream media turned on the outrage machine on behalf of Smollett. However, Smollett completely fabricated the entire story, and the media fell for it every step of the way.

Fox News reported that Smollett was convicted of five felony counts of disorderly conduct in December 2021 for creating this ruse to make himself out to be the victim of an attack. He was sentenced to 150 days in jail for these crimes in March 2022.

Brothers Abimbola “Bola” and Olabinjo “Ola” Osundairo, who participated in this situation with Smollett, are breaking their silence and talking about what truly happened on that fateful day. They gave their interview to Fox News Nation.

“A friend of mine had sent me a screenshot of the front page of, I believe, a TMZ article that showed that Jussie had [been] attacked. I ran to my brother and [was] like, ‘Yo, mission accomplished. We did it,’” Bola said as he recalled the events. He continued, “Now we’ve secured the payment of our $500 that he owes us because he only wrote us a check of [sic] $3,500, and that was the day we were supposed to leave for Nigeria.”

Bola said that he and his brother were headed out of the country to audition for a popular television show internationally. Ola said: “Things were on the up and up for us. Things were looking pretty good.”

Smollett alleged that two white supremacists had thrown chemicals on him and put a noose around his neck while yelling racist and homophobic slurs at him. As it turned out, these two brothers received payment for their attack on Smollett. He wanted to orchestrate a narrative of being the victim of a racially-based attack, but it was all a setup.

An off-camera interviewer of the brothers asked: “You know Eddie Johnson [former Chicago Police Superintendent] said he could tell in the footage that you guys are Black, right?”

Ola replied: “Really?” and “I feel like he’s just saying that. We were in character the whole time.”

Overall, the whole thing fell apart quickly and cratered Smollett’s career.
