Based on reporting by JustTheNews, many conservative lifestyle choices are now labeled as potential “domestic terror threats.” A few of the labels that appear to get the FBI concerned include being a pro-life activist or even attending traditional Latin Mass.
JustTheNews reports that the House Republicans released testimony by an FBI whistleblower who says that colleagues within the FBI have placed the potential domestic terrorist tag on certain types of people with conservative viewpoints. The whistleblower says that the original intent was to use identifiers to spot those who might be a threat to Supreme Court Justices who sided with the pro-life majority in the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade. However, things have spun out of control and started to create a situation where conservatives are labeled as terrorist threats for how they live their lives.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, told JustTheNews that this is just the latest sign of a disturbing trend of turning parts of the federal government into political weapons to use against the other party.

Representative Jordan spoke on the John Solomon Reports podcast and said: “If it’s [targeting] parents, that’s one thing,” and “Traditional Catholics — okay, well, that’s a concern too. But when it gets to be three, which is what we learned from a whistleblower when he said they were targeting pro-lifers, now we see a pattern, right? So it’s parents, traditional Catholics, pro-lifers — all are wrong. Now it’s a pattern.”

FBI whistleblower Garret O’Boyle spoke to Congress and said that following the Dobbs court decision that the guidance was to allow the FBI to look into the pregnancy centers that are scattered throughout the country to try to identify people who might pose a threat to the lives of the Supreme Court Justices that voted in favor of overturning Roe v. Wade. However, the whistleblower says that they feel that agents within the Bureau are now using that authority to search for people who attend traditional Mass services and the like.

O’Boyle says that he was never given guidance to look into threats made to pregnancy crisis centers. Instead, it seems that the FBI wanted to use the fact that they were given authority to search into these types of things to make it easier to hunt for those with conservative views on abortion and other issues, at least according to the whistleblower.
