A Student Debt Crisis Center rally was held at the steps of the Supreme Court as the highest court in the land considered a recent case related to the plan by the Biden Administration to cancel a lot of student debt for students throughout the country. The plan was to cancel $10,000 worth of student loan debt for individuals making $125,000 or less per year or households making $250,000 or less.

Weingarten had an emotional breakdown as she gave a speech about the student debt crisis. She said, “And frankly, and this is what really pisses me off,” and “During the pandemic, we understood that small businesses were hurting, and we helped them, and it didn’t go to the Supreme Court to challenge it. Big businesses were hurting, and we helped them, and it didn’t go to the Supreme Court to challenge it.”

She continued by saying:

“All of a sudden, when it’s about our students, they challenge it, the corporations challenge it, the student loan lenders challenge it,”

Entrepreneur Kevin Dalton tweeted: “I can only imagine this video cuts off seconds before Randi Weingarten goes full on crazy cat lady, and starts throwing cats at people on the steps of the Supreme Court.”
