Greg Price, a senior digital strategist at X Strategies LLC, tweeted a clip of Biden's remark, followed by the statement, "FACT CHECK: Joe Biden is both white and stupid." Meanwhile, talk show host Gerry Callahan asked, "Because white boys are stupid? What an idiot."

Biden also recently caused controversy by referring to Maryland's first Black governor, Wes Moore, as "boy."

As reported by Fox News, some conservatives have accused Biden of engaging in "self-hatred" and adhering to a Marxist definition of racism that posits that only white people can be racist because they hold the majority of power in society.

At the Black History Month event, he stressed the importance of acknowledging all aspects of American history, including the good, the bad, and the ugly. "We have to learn everything, the good, the bad, the truth, and who we are as a nation," he said.
