King Charles III is in the spotlight for his relationship with his brother, Prince Andrew.

Fox News is reporting that King Charles III is attempting to make things better with his brother, but reports suggest that this is just part of a larger plan within the royal family.

A source spoke with the Telegraph and stated that the King would not leave his brother "homeless or penniless," even though he had already forced him out of the Royal Lodge.

Fox News reports that there are rumors that Prince Andrew's allowance is set to be cut from $300,000 per year. The cut is said to go into effect beginning in April. Friends say that the cut to the allowance will make it hard for Prince Andrew to maintain the 98-acre Windsor property. His main sources of income remain a Navy pension and a significant inheritance from his late parents Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

Christopher Andersen, author of "The King." spoke about the situation, saying:

"The king cannot afford to watch the royal family continue to unravel as we approach the coronation," and "For the time being, at least, I think Charles will try to reassure the Duke of York that he will be shored up financially by the sovereign – that the King will continue to reach into his pocket to help cover his younger brother's expenses. After the coronation, it's anyone's guess whether Charles will continue to shell out millions so that Andrew can remain at Royal Lodge."
