The New York Post reports that her father says his daughter committed suicide after getting a taunting text from fellow students about the video of the beatdown she took from fellow students.
Adriana Kuch was found dead in her home on February 3rd, just days after a video was taken of a group of fellow students beating her up in the school hallways. The girl’s father, Michael Kuch, spoke with the Daily Mail and said that one girl sent her a taunting text about her dripping blood in the hallway and getting a beating.
Michael Kuch said that one of the girls began the attack against his daughter because she was jealous of her friendship with another female student. He also stated that his daughter was driven to suicide by embarrassment over the fact that the video of her attack was spreading rapidly on Snapchat and TikTok.

Her dad told the Daily Mail: “She was so embarrassed that they jumped her. She would say, ‘I don’t want to be made fun of.”

He continued by saying: “It was like she was attacked twice. It used to be you’d go to school, get bullied and then you left. But now you come home and you keep getting bullied — they still keep picking at you home.”

The horrified dad followed this by saying: “I can’t begin to tell you how angry I am at the school, at the police department … if those videos hadn’t been posted, these girls would have ended up with a one-day suspension or in no trouble at all.”

Three girls involved in the attack have been charged with third-degree felony assault, and a fourth has been charged with disorderly conduct. However, Michael does not feel like the school did nearly enough to intervene in this situation.
Earlier, Kuch denied that the attack had anything to do with the students’ race and said this theory was “garbage.” He wrote the following on Facebook about the theory that the attack was racially motivated:

“Adriana was beautiful and she loved everyone, she did not care about race, the world would be a better place if everyone was as colorblind as she was.”
However, some are still unclear about this because there has been a tremendous amount of back and forth on social media about the possibility that the attack was racially motivated.
