Footage of the trans activists' demonstration at Oklahoma's capitol quickly circulated on Twitter, with close to 200 participants occupying the center atrium.
A considerable amount of people in the group were displaying trans flags, as well as carrying placards that read "we are not a threat."
The crowd raised their voices in unison, chanting, "trans lives matter."

Senator David Bullard of Oklahoma has recently proposed a bill to prevent genital mutilation for those under the age of 26. He stated: "Senate Bill 129 is designed to protect our children from those who want to benefit financially at their expense. Child abuse is a felony in our state, and mutilating a young person’s genitalia should be viewed no differently.”
